Frequently Asked Questions

What is the climate at Tandweni Villa?

We often jokingly say that this region has only two seasons: summer and hell! During summer (December to March), the temperature ranges from 20°C to highs of 40°C. This is also traditionally the rainy season. From April to June, expect temperatures of 15°C to 30°C. July and August are mild, with lows of 10°C and highs of 25°C. The evenings can be cool during our ‘winter’ (April to September) so pack accordingly for evenings around the fire pit.  From September to November, the temperature ranges from 15°C to 25°C. Sun hats and sun cream are a must at any time of year.
